This little hole in the wall BBQ truck place is well worth the stop! Big BBQ sandwiches and great brisket. They have picnic tables outside to enjoy the cool Colorado weather, but I would recommend to pick it up and Jeep to a beautiful overlook and eat.

My wife and I have eaten bbq all over Texas, the Carolina’s, and Colorado; we have very different tastes…we both agree every time we try bbq somewhere it doesn’t hold a candle to big Doug’s. If you told me the best bbq I’d ever eat was in Creede Colorado I’d have asked you if you’ve also seen pigs fly…turns out pigs do fly; this bbq is remarkable. It is far and away the best bbq we’ve ever had.

Great sauce with friendly service. When you add in that every meat we tried was delicious you have a great place to eat. We enjoyed the excellent brisket, pulled pork and chopped beef. I highly recommend all three. My wife who is a BBQ snob was also impressed. Thanks again for providing great BBQ.

Good bbq, similar to what you find in Texas. I want to try the sliced brisket next time. This time we got the Pig Out Sandwich (with pulled pork and raspberry chipotle sauce). Chopped brisket sandwich (comes with their sauce already mixed in it). And chopped brisket loaded potato. The potato is huge! All the food is a lot and can be split probably. Charro beans are pretty good too. Good value. The bbq sauce is a little “peppery” (I like a sweeter kind) but overall a great bbq place and will come back.
